Testing different types of threads (silk, metallic, cotton, polyester)

I discovered the amazing place with many types of hand embroidery threads, of course, I bought different threads to try ^^

1. DMC Cotton Floche threads

2. Kreinik (thick metallic threads)

Good, but not for miniature embroidery.

3. Gloriana and Some D’Alger (silk)

The threads are soft and easy to work with! If you are new to embroidery, these threads will leave a pleasant impression and make you want to embroider further.

4. Signature, Floriani (polyester threads for machine sewing)

These threads were bought in this store: www.PatchesQuilting.com

These colors are perfect for autumn landscapes, their texture is good for miniature embroidery. I should note that Floriani threads are difficult to work with if you use them for hand embroidery and especially if you use thick fabric.

5. Splendor (silk)

They are similar in texture to Gloriana and Some D’Alger threads, but slightly thinner.

In this photo you can compare all the threads with each other:
